Algorithmic Engagements is an annual festival for IT specialists in Poland.
The noble rivalry over algorithmic ideas and programming skills can be
entered by professional programmers, computer engineering students, high
school students (or even senior pupils) and virtually everyone who treats
computing and algorithmic science as a hobby. The finalists of the
competition constitute the elite of young Polish IT specialists what finds
its confirmation in their professional and scientific accomplishments.
I do hope, that among the former and current Algorithmic Engagements
contestants, there will be those, whose professional achievements will cause
the word "Poland" appear on the world's lips not only because of our
national tragedies. That is what I wish for all and myself in these,
difficult for Poland, days.
